Top Talent Local is a membership community for speakers, authors, and experts. We provide weekly meetings, discounts to national events, entry-level support for publishing/publicity/production, and a direct path to full representation by Top Talent Agency (David Fagan).
How is this different from BNI / Chamber / NSA? +
BNI/Chamber are general business, NSA focuses only on speaking skills. Top Talent Local is built specifically for experts and offers access to a real agency (publishing, PR, booking) plus a high-level community.
Who is this for? +
Speakers (aspiring or paid), authors (self or traditionally published), coaches, consultants, and any expert with a message. Not for people who don’t want to meet others or seek get-rich-quick.
What does $100/month or $997/year include? +
Weekly meetings, monthly Authority Labs, discounted event tickets, entry-level support (one-sheets, book proposals), discounted production, community collaboration, and a pathway to full agency representation. Annual members also get a 1‑hour strategy call.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Monthly plan: cancel online with one click. Annual plan: full refund within 14 days; after that you keep access for the full year.
What if my city doesn’t have a chapter? +
Contact us – we’ll put you on a list. Once there’s enough interest, we help launch a new chapter. You can also attend online meetings from any existing chapter in the meantime.
Can I attend a meeting before joining? +
Yes. Every chapter welcomes guests for one free meeting. Just find a chapter on our website and show up.
How do I get full agency representation? +
Members who demonstrate expertise and professionalism may be invited to apply for Top Talent Agency’s roster. No extra fee – the agency takes a commission on booked work (industry standard). Being a Local member gives you visibility.
Can I become a Chapter President / license owner? +
Absolutely. We are actively seeking leaders to own territories (cities/metros). Investment ranges from $15k–$150k depending on density. You’ll earn 20% of dues, 50% of sponsorships, 10% of agency referrals, and you keep 100% of your own coaching/services. Request info below.
What is the refund policy for events/contests? +
Event tickets and contest entry fees are non-refundable but fully transferable to another person. Membership refunds as described above.
